Wageningen UR Plant research International BV, part of Wageningen UR

Wageningen University is the leading European university in the Life Sciences. Researchers and students focus on the fields of nutrition, health, nature and the living environment. For the fourth year in a row, Wageningen University has topped the list of 14 Dutch universities in the Guide to Choosing Higher Education.

CCM is a private, independent research and development company, founded in 1969 by Professor Alexandre Horowitz (Eindhoven University of Technology). In the spirit of the founder, CCM has a good reputation in the development of a vast number of creative solutions. The growth to around 100 employees has ensured that CCM is able to fly realise these solutions. Our employees are highly educated technical specialists (around 40% has a university degree), divided over mechanical engineering, physics, electronics and informatics. CCM has all the necessary facilities onsite, for execution of the projects. This includes workshops for assembly activities, test areas and a clean room laboratory. Furthermore CCM has an extensive network of specialist knowledge within scientific institutions, partners and suppliers.

In 1994, Aquamarijn was founded to develop high flux, precision microfiltration membranes, "microsieve membranes™". Initially, the idea was to use silicon micromaching (in those days new technology) to improve the at that time state-of-the-art membranes. But soon we realised, that the membranes opened a whole new era of filtration applications that had not been possible before: separation of cells or particles on size; low pressure filtration thereby minimising fouling rate; a low internal membrane volume thus no protein loss during processing; an extremely smooth membrane surface that declines the anchoring of cells or fouling to it.

Q-Bioanalytic GmbH

Q-Bioanalytic GmbH was established in 2003 by Dr. Oberheitmann and Prof. Dr. Harms. It is specialized on the analysis of pathogenic organisms in food or feed, with microbiological and molecular-biological methods. It is an approved lab for water analytics, as well as an approved lab for the diagnostics of the koi herpes virus. The special competence of the company lies in the area of the molecular-biological diagnostics. Q-Bioanalytic GmbH has profound knowledge in dealing with difficult food and feed matrices, different DNA-extraction methods as well as the PCR-analysis. Beside the kit production Q-Bioanalytic GmbH runs an ISO 17025 accredited service lab for food and water analytics with main focus on the PCR-analysis.
